Аbout exports, commodity trends and business networking

The rapidly growing business interest between Russia and China is the main theme of the International/ China Commodity Fair
The trade turnover between Russia and China has grown by 25% since the beginning of the year, the Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS) reports.
At the same time, the participants of the International / China Commodity Fair 2023 note, since last year there is an enthusiasm of Russian business for the production of household appliances in cooperation with China. And the demand from the Russian buyer for electronics and consumer goods from Chinese brands has not decreased for a number of years.
The positive dynamics and prospects of trade relations between Russia and China in the current geopolitical and economic conditions will be the main topic of meetings of manufacturers, distributors, representatives of government agencies and trade associations from Russia, Asia and the CIS within the framework of the international consumer goods exhibition International / China Commodity Fair. The exhibition will be held at the IEC Expocentre in Moscow from October 30 until November 1 2023.

Building new partnerships

What topics will be discussed at the upcoming exhibition: issues of Russia's integration into global logistics processes, forecasts of consumer market development in the face of rising fuel prices and inflation, as well as state support measures aimed at improving the competitiveness of Russian enterprises. The fair has already proven itself over the years as an effective platform for international business networking. There will also be an opportunity to hold meetings with existing business contacts and find new suppliers from among distributors and manufacturers of specialized goods.
More than 200 Chinese brands, including technology companies and manufacturers of household appliances and consumer electronics, have already confirmed their participation in the new season of the exhibition. Also, the exhibition will feature expositions of household goods, tableware, household goods, interior and decor items, gift and souvenir products, goods for children.

Participants will present their best product lines, the latest novelties and premieres. By the way, according to analysts' observations, the departure of leading European brands from Russia caused enthusiasm for the production of household appliances from many players in cooperation with China.
Along with this, the demand for household appliances of well–known Chinese brands, such as in Haier, Huawei and Samsung, etc., does not decrease. Just like last year, this season visitors will be pleased with the expositions of the latest models of robot vacuum cleaners, as well as analogues of popular Dyson hair dryers, which are demonstrated by Dreame Technologies. The possibility of using household appliances with a bright design from the Casio G star electrical appliance is indicated.

Commodity Trends from China

Consumers have just met a robot vacuum cleaner, and a window cleaner robot has already appeared – a technological device from Bomidi that will help out not only a housewife, but in the future it will be able to replace climbers when washing windows of skyscrapers. It is curious that, unlike the Chinese market, this functional gadget is not very common in Russia yet. It is possible that the Russian consumer will appreciate its potential just thanks to a wide presentation at the exhibition.
Most of the expositions will showcase household items such as tableware and kitchen utensils, as well as gifts. For example, premium quality Chinese porcelain from Jiangsu Gaochun Ceramic. Electronic products are widely presented in the beauty and health section, among which you can find numerous devices for taking care of yourself – such as massagers for the face, arms, back, legs and irrigators for teeth from Jinhua Keyue Electronice Commerce
An impressive number of exhibition space is occupied by home textiles and sleeping accessories from the Chinese manufacturer Ningbo Kingworth Globalimp. At the fair guests will see different blankets, orthopedic pillows, bed linen and much more.

The main products in the household chemicals category are cleaning products and laundry detergents, as well as a variety of soaps, including hygienic cosmetics from the Chinese technology company Hebei Baiyun Daily Chemical.
Also, service and logistics companies will be presented at the fair. They will be ready to assist businesses in promoting goods and working with China. After all, as the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation, Mr. Liu Xuesong, emphasized, commenting on the results of the previous exhibition: "China has been Russia's main trading partner for 12 years in a row. And despite the variability of the pandemic situation and other challenges that countries are experiencing, Russian-Chinese trade relations demonstrate serious stability and endogenous momentum, moving against the current."
Last year the International / China Commodity Fair was visited by more than 5,000 people. Such dynamics shows not only to the loyalty and interest of Russian buyers in Chinese goods, but also to the trust of domestic business in technological solutions and commodity trends from colleagues from Eastern companies. It demonstrates rapid growth and a significant presence in the Russian market. And this explains why it is so important for all participants – from Russia, Asia and the CIS - to visit the International / China Commodity Fair consumer goods exhibition this season.
