The founder of Alibaba has responded to claims about harsh labor conditions in China.
The job schedule in many Chinese technological companies is from 9 am to 9 pm six days a week. During his speech Jack Ma said that this kind of schedule was a "huge blessing" for young people. He also noted that he worked 12 hours a day and he would never change that part of himself.

'If you do not work from 9 to 9 when you are young, then when else will you be able to work that much? Everyone in this world wants to be a success, everyone wants a better life, more respect. Let me ask you: if you do not put more time and effort in your work than others, then how are you going to succeed?', Jack Ma told Alibaba workers.
Jack Ma is the founder of one of the biggest Chinese companies - Alibaba - which encompasses the online-shop AliExpress and the payment system AliPay. Before opening his business in 1999 Ma was an English teacher. Last year he became the richest person in China with net fortune of 35 billion dollars.
