The first joint meeting of the Club of Heads of trade-economic missions (Embassy departments) of foreign countries, accredited in Moscow, and the Council of Heads of the Representations of Russian regions to the President and the Government of the Russian Federation will be held on June 18, 2019 within the framework of the International Commodity Fair. The meeting will be devoted to the promotion of non-primary exports and imports, industry and localization of production in the Russian regions. During the event, G2G meetings will be held between representatives of the governments of the participating countries.
Participants
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors, trade representatives of foreign States, Heads of Russian regional representations and organisations responsible for the development of export-import relations will attend this meeting.

Representatives of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Federal and regional executive bodies will be the guests of this meeting.

About the Club

The Club is an advisory, consultative body, which main goal is a preliminary discussion of the development of international cooperation and export-import relations with the participation of representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps in Moscow and ensuring interaction with federal and regional executive authorities, other bodies, public associations and organizations. At the moment, members of the Club are representatives of more than 80 foreign countries.

About the Council

On the initiative of the Permanent Representation of the Komi Republic to the President of the Russian Federation, supported by the number of other permanent representatives, it was created the Council of the Heads of Representations of the Russian Regions to the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation.

The activities of the Council are aimed at at strengthening cooperation, coordination and interaction between the representations of the Russian regions to the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation located in Moscow.
