FAS forces Wildberries and Ozon to scrap new seller regulations

At the request of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), the marketplaces Wildberries and Ozon have canceled some of the new rules for sellers that were introduced in the fall of 2025.

Wildberries revoked two controversial innovations:

  • The Stock Index: As of November 1, the surcharge for storing small quantities of goods has been canceled. This surcharge had forced sellers to participate in promotions.
  • The Tariff Constructor: Services can now be purchased individually, rather than as a bundled package with a fixed term.

Ozon reverted to its previous return policy. Before the change, goods returned to pick-up points were sent to the marketplace's warehouses, depriving sellers of the ability to manage their own inventory. Now, an automatic return shipment for such items will be launched.

Experts note that while FAS recommendations are not legally binding, ignoring them can lead to administrative cases being opened against the companies.
