The 127th Canton Fair will be held online from June 15 to 24 due to the current global situation. The decision was announced at an executive meeting of the State Council of the PRC on April 7, chaired by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
New Online Format
On April 7, the Chinese government decided that, given the global pandemic, the 127th Canton Fair would be organized in a new format. Companies from China and around the world are invited to showcase their products online. Thanks to advanced information technologies, exhibitors will have access to 24/7 services for online product promotion, organizing business meetings, and conducting negotiations. On the trade internet platform, Chinese and international companies will be able to place orders and conclude deals.
Canton Fair
The China Import and Export Fair is the largest business exhibition in China, often known as the main showcase of the country’s industrial and foreign trade sectors. The Canton Fair is held twice a year, in the autumn and spring seasons.
In autumn 2019, the fair featured more than 60,000 exhibition booths and was attended by 186,000 buyers from across the globe.
