Wildberries has launched Wibes—a platform featuring video reviews of products

The video platform will allow users to browse and purchase products by watching videos up to 90 seconds long, such as product reviews and selections, as well as content about new arrivals and trends, helping sellers promote their products. Product cards from Wildberries can be attached to the content.

Wildberries states that with the new app, sellers will be able to increase brand awareness, boost customer loyalty, and promote their products more effectively.
The Wibes app is available for download on Google Play, the App Store, and RuStore. After the test period, monetization will be introduced for content creators and bloggers. On October 9, 2024, Wildberries and Russ registered the Wibes domain.

According to the press service, Wibes creates a personalized feed based on a user's subscriptions, liked videos, and purchases made on the marketplace. Products featured in videos that a user adds to their cart on the video platform are automatically transferred to their cart in the Wildberries app and website. In the beta version of the content platform, hundreds of thousands of videos from over 1,000 sellers and collections from bloggers have already been uploaded.

“Wibes is about the emotions and impressions that purchases bring us. I have long wanted to create a space that would better introduce buyers to products through video reviews and short articles, and provide new opportunities for sellers and bloggers. I’ve already started testing it myself and was one of the first to create a personal account,” said the head of the unified company and Wildberries founder, Tatyana Kim.

As a reminder, in 2024, Wildberries took first place in the ranking of online trading platforms, and the Russian e-commerce market grew by 37% to 11.3 trillion rubles. According to analysts, this represents more than 20% of all retail sales in the country.
