The Wildberries marketplace has introduced a new AI tool for sellers — the "Video Covers" service. As reported by the company's press service Shopper’s, it is designed for quickly creating video presentations of products directly in the product card editor on the seller portal.
To generate a video, sellers need to upload several images of the product. The service offers two formats: a slideshow of photos or "animation" using neural networks. Users can customize the result by choosing various effects, such as smooth transitions, zoom, motion, and others. The entire process of creating a video cover takes about a minute.
According to Kirill Sedov, head of the relevant department at Wildberries, the AI independently analyzes the product's category and features to achieve the best result. The neural networks are constantly learning, and the service's functionality will be expanded in the future.
