On June 5, as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Mr. Jason Cao, Assistant General Manager of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd., presented two Russian-Chinese projects of the holding company – China Commodity Fair and China Machinery Fair.
Project Presentation
During the presentation, development and implementation options for the “Belt and Road” initiative through the mechanisms and tools of the exhibition industry were discussed. The “Belt and Road” Initiative is a proposal to integrate the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, put forward by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in the 2010s.

China Commodity Fair
The national Chinese exhibition of quality consumer goods, China Commodity Fair, will be held on June 18–20, as part of the International Commodity Fair 2019. For the fourth time, manufacturers of consumer goods, selected by China’s Ministry of Commerce, Messe Frankfurt, and the trade development committees of six PRC provinces, will come together on the exhibition platform.

China Machinery Fair
The 3rd National Chinese Engineering and Innovation Exhibition, China Machinery Fair, will take place on October 29–31 at Expocentre. China Machinery Fair 2019 is an effective platform for the development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the industrial sector, expanding investment opportunities, and concluding mutually beneficial deals, including joint manufacturing and localization.
