Most of the exhibits will showcase home and kitchen products, home appliances and electronics, as well as gifts and stationery. In the home and kitchen category, the majority of items are household goods, kitchen utensils, and tableware. In the home appliances and electronics category, the main products are kitchen appliances and small household devices, including consumer electronics.
Importantly, this year’s International / China Commodity Fair features many factories that specialize in contract manufacturing (OEM/ODM), rather than simply supplying finished goods. About half of all exhibitors are companies offering finished products, while the other half are factories engaged in OEM or ODM manufacturing. Additionally, a third of exhibitors offer products exclusively under their own brands (such as Dreame, CGC, Tianfu). Visitors will be able to personally test the products on display and speak directly with manufacturers and sellers.

Over the past six months, trade turnover (exports and imports) between Russia and China increased by 40.6% compared to the same period last year. It is also known that the total value of goods exchanged between the two countries reached $114.54 billion, or 10.35 trillion rubles. If you examine customs statistics from the beginning of 2023 and compare them with those of the same period last year, almost all groups of Chinese imported goods to Russia have shown positive trends.
Specifically, among the top hundred categories by trade volume from China to Russia are equipment, footwear and accessories, as well as toys and plastic goods. Thus, Russian-Chinese trade is moving exactly in the direction set by consumer demand.
«Russians have always bought a lot of goods made in China, but in the case of European or American brands, the country of manufacture was often unnoticed. Now, however, there is noticeable growth in sales of genuinely Chinese products that are not only made in China, but also sold under Chinese brands. Among the categories seeing rapidly growing demand are electronics, a variety of gadgets, clothing and footwear, home decor items, children’s toys, and even welding machines. It is certain that the share of Chinese brands in Russia will continue to grow steadily in the coming years,» commented Dmitry Chumakov, CEO of the Vector Market Research Center and a business partner of the International / China Commodity Fair 2023.
Comprehensive analytics on these topics will be available first-hand for exhibition participants during the business program. For example, experts representing leading online trading platforms will talk about the features and trends of promoting Chinese products in Russia and the prospects for scaling business through marketplaces in 2023. Other analytics presentations are also expected.
