Analysts attribute this growth to the opportunity to find models on the global market that are not available from local sellers. An expanded assortment and attractive prices are becoming decisive factors for buyers, even if delivery takes a little longer.
"We launched a pilot cross-border delivery service because we saw a demand from users. The pilot project confirmed our expectations: demand is high, which means there is potential to expand the assortment. Our task now is to scale this direction on the platform while maintaining the high level of service our users are accustomed to," comments Alexey Ukrainsky, Head of Business Development at Avito Goods.
