The International / China Commodity Fair will take place on November 12–14, 2024, at the Timiryazev Center. More than 200 companies from China will present excellent solutions for the Russian goods business. But that’s not all: in addition to sourcing suppliers, the venue will also host a business program featuring experts who will share insights on how to make your business more profitable.
The power of high-quality content for boosting sales
Recently, Yandex.Market conducted a survey of more than 1,000 sellers. According to the results, 71% of respondents note the impact of content on sales: 43% believe that high-quality content increases sales of any product, while 28% say that photos and descriptions play a decisive role in highly competitive conditions.
Product card creation and description are delegated by 60% of sellers, most of whom work with a team of several specialists. In such cases, entrepreneurs spend on average from 50,000 to 100,000 rubles per month on content. The remaining 40% of sellers handle all content themselves, spending between two and eight hours a week on this work.
AI for marketplaces: we’ll tell you more at the exhibition conference
By the way, according to the survey, only 18% of sellers have tried using artificial intelligence for content creation. Most of them used AI to generate product titles or descriptions and to create images for product listings.
At the exhibition conference on November 12–14, we will cover many useful topics for sellers and analyze your real-life cases. We will definitely dedicate several sessions to discussing neural networks for marketplaces, since artificial intelligence helps manage processes faster, more efficiently, and at lower costs.
If you want to quickly get up to speed on this topic and have the opportunity to ask experts your questions in person, don’t miss the International Commodity Fair.
«A/B Testing» of Product Listings on Wildberries
Last week, Wildberries launched a new paid tool: «A/B testing» for main product listing images. This feature allows sellers to determine which image attracts more traffic and boosts sales by comparing different photo options.
Experts have given positive feedback about this new opportunity, although they suggest that if widely used, the effect based on contrast with competitors may diminish.
