- 79% of Russians visit e-commerce platforms at least once a month, and every second person does so daily. On average, users spend 12 minutes a day shopping online. There are 3.7 billion product-related search queries recorded each month.
- More and more Russians are searching for products not through search engines, but directly on e-commerce platforms. In February 2025, the ratio of branded transactional queries was 2:1 in favor of marketplaces, which now account for more than half of all product searches on the Internet.
- The largest reach among e-commerce services is held by Wildberries (25%) and Ozon (22%).
- The most commonly searched products are clothing and footwear (12%), home goods (8%), gadgets (7%), building materials (5%), and auto products, cosmetics, and children’s goods (each at 4%).
- The type of search resource often depends on the product category: household chemicals and pet food are searched for on marketplaces, cosmetics on specialized websites, and smartphones via search engines.
