Data Insight: how has the ranking of online stores changed?

The marketing research agency Data Insight has released an updated ranking of the TOP-100 Russian online stores for 2024. Here’s a brief summary of the results:

The Top Four:

- Wildberries: Online sales volume reached 3.32 trillion rubles (growth: +55%)
- Ozon: 2.52 trillion rubles (+62%)
- Yandex Market: 535.3 million rubles (+45%)
- Megamarket: 342.6 million rubles (+10%)

Average Order Value:

- Wildberries: Slightly increased to 870 rubles
- Ozon: Virtually unchanged at 1,790 rubles
- Yandex Market: Grew by 11% to 4,250 rubles
- The most noticeable growth was seen by MTS (+51%) and Lenta (+30%), reaching 26,100 and 3,060 rubles respectively.

Sales Dynamics:

The highest growth in online sales among the TOP-20 was shown by the Pyaterochka delivery service (+100%), Yandex Lavka (+73%), and Zolotoye Yabloko (+68%).
The most noticeable slowdown in order growth was seen with Megamarket, which took 4th place in the ranking. DNS, M.Video, and Citilink also showed weak growth.
